Systrap is a leading independent IT consulting company focusing solely on products from F5 Networks. Systrap specializes in Professional Services, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. We also offer custom trainings and development of iRules and iApps. Systrap is based in Fraser, CO and was founded in 2014 by Richard Jones. We do not resell any hardware, and as a result, we have relationships with numerous F5 resellers to provide professional services to their customers.

Richard Jones is a Senior Consultant focusing on F5 Networks. Richard has over 14 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in Security for his entire career. He started as a Security Engineer with a small IT Security Reseller where he designed, sold, and implemented all manner of IT security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention, hard disk encryption, VPNs, load balancing, and authentication. Since 2010, Richard has focused solely on the BIG-IP platform from F5 Networks. In 2016, he passed the F5 Certified Security Solution Expert exam to become one of the first 50 F5-CSEs in the world. He has extensive experience designing and implementing F5 solutions, as well as performing hardware upgrades and migrations from other load balancing products.
Richard is an Authorized F5 Instructor for Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM). He teaches the official F5 training courses through an F5 Authorized Training Center. In addition to official courses, Richard also performs custom training for customers on any topic related to the BIG-IP.
Richard is also credited as a contributor to a number of the current F5 certification exams.
